Code of Conduct

  1. Preface of the Bhagyalaxmi Co – Operative Society Limited
    “Don’t be evil” Society generally apply the those thing to how we serve our member. But “Don’t be evil” is much more than that providing best information to the members. Following the law, acting honorably and treating each other with respect. Our commitment to the highest standards helps us hire great members, build great service and attract loyal members. Trust and mutual respect among employees and member are the foundation of our success. We need to earn everyday. So please do read the code, and follow both its spirit and letter, always bearing in mind that every employee has personal responsibility to incorporate and to encourage other employee and members. In performing their job duties employees should always act lawfully, ethically, and in the best interest of Bhagyalaxmi Society Co –Operative Limited.
  2. Compliance with Laws, Rules and Regulations:-----
    Employees must follow applicable laws, rules and regulations at all times. Employee with questions about the applicability or interpretation of any law, rule or regulation, should contact the legal department.
  3. Conflicts of Interest:---
    In performing their job duties, employees are expected to use their judgment to act, at all times and in all ways, in the best interest of Bhagyalaxmi Co –Operative Society Limited. A “conflict of interest” exists when an employee’s personal interest interferes with the best interest of Bhagyalaxmi Co –Operative Society Limited. A conflict of interest may occur when a employee or a family members receives a personal benefit as a result of the employee’s position with Bhagyalaxmi Co –Operative Society Limited. Employee should attempt to avoid conflicts of interests and employee’s who believe a conflicts of interest may should promptly notify the legal department will consider the facts and circumstances of the situations to decide whether corrective or mitigating action is appropriate.
  4. Who must follow our code?
    We expect all of our employees to know and follow the code. Failure to do so can result in disciplinary action, including termination of employment. Moreover, while the code is specifically written for Bhagyalaxmi Co –Operative Society Limited employees. Failure of a employee service provider to follow the code can result in termination of their relation with Bhagyalaxmi Co –Operative Society Limited.
  5. Health and Safety:---
    Bhagyalaxmi Co –Operative Society Limited provides a safe and healthy work environment. Each employee responsibility for maintaining a healthy work placed by following safety and health rules and practices and reporting accidents, injuries and procedures of behaviors. Violence and threatening behavior are not permitted. Employees must report to work in a condition to perform their duties, free from the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol.
  6. Discrimination and Harassment:---
    Bhagyalaxmi Co–Operative Society Limited provides equal opportunities in all aspects of employment and will not tolerate any illegal discrimination or harassment of any kind.
  7. No Retaliation:---
    Bhagyalaxmi Credit Co-Operative Society Limited prohibits retaliation against employee here at society who reports or participates in an investigations of a possible violation of our code. If you believe you are being retaliated against, please Ethics and Compliance ----
    I)Serve Our Members:---
    a) Integrity:---
    Our reputation as a society that our members can trust is our most valuable asset, and it is up to all of us to make sure that we continually earn that trust. All of our communications and other interactions with our members should increase their trust in us.
    b) Usefulness:
    Our policies, features and services should make society more useful for all our members. We have many different type of members. But one guiding principal: “Is what we are offering useful.”
    c) Privacy, Security and Freedom of Expression:----
    Always remember that we are asking members to trust with their requires that each of us respect and protect the privacy and security of that information. Privacy policies and applicable date protection law. Society is committed to advancing privacy and freedom of expression of our members.
    d) Respect Each Other:
    We are committed to supportive work environment where the employees have the opportunity to reach their fullest potential. Every employee shall maintain good conduct, discipline, punctuality and show courtesy and attention to all person in their transactions or dealing with the society.
  8. Confidential Information------
    Make sure that confidential policy of society don’t disclose it outside without Bhagyalaxmi authorization. Suppose a friend who works at a non-profit organization asks you informally how to improve the business of society be cautious in what advice or insight you provide or, better yet, ask for guidance from Ethics & compliance. Don’t tell your significant other or family members anything confidential and don’t solicit confidential information from them about their Bhagyalaxmi Co-Operative Society Limited.
  9. Accepting gifts and other entertainment -----
    Accepting gifts and entertainment from any one of the society member can easily create the appearance of a conflict of interest generally acceptance of inexpensive gifts cash is permissible.
  10. Friends and Relatives, Co-Worker Relationships :-
    Avoid participating in a potential or existing work relationship involving your relatives, spouse or significant other, or close friends. This includes being the hiring manager for a position for which your relative or close friend is being considered or being relation manager for a Bhagyalaxmi Credit Co-Operative Society Limited associated with your spouse or significant other. Finally romantic relationships between co workers can, depending on the work rules and respective positions of the co workers involved, create an actual or apparent conflict of interest.
  11. Responsibility towards your assets & liabilities ---
    Every officer on first appointment as on 31st march every year, shall submit a return of assets and liabilities giving full details. The immovable property owned or acquired or held by the employee debts and other liabilities incurred by the employee directly or indirectly, including loans from the bank or other financial status .For the purpose of this rule “ Family means” spouse whether residing with the officer or not, but does not include a legally separated spouse. Children or step children or adopted children of the of employee whether residing with the office or not and dependent totally on such employee but dose not include children or step children whose custody the employee has been deprived of by or under any law, and any other person related to by blood or marriage is the employee spouse and totally dependent upon such officer. The society may also at any time by general or special order, require an employee to furnish with him a period to be specified in the order. Such kind of a statement if so required by the society include the details of the means by which or sources from which such property was acquired. The above statement of asset and liabilities should be furnished in the enclosed format on or before 30th June every year. Non- submission of the above annual statement by employee would constitute an act of misconduct under the society’s staff rules for which disciplinary action may be taken by the society.
  12. Obey the law:---
    Society takes it’s responsibilities to comply with laws and regulations very seriously and each of us is expected to comply with applicable legal requirement’s and prohibitions. While it’s impossible for any one to know all aspects of every applicable law, you should understand the major laws and regulations that apply to work.
